The faces of the children in Mozambique's villages left a lasting impression on me. Their warmth and openness struck me, especially the girls. I formed meaningful connections during my visits to each village.

The experience was a mix of joy from the bonds I formed and concern for the future of those I met. I was struck by how daily survival often overshadowed other important issues.

This journey showed me the complex realities of these communities. I learned how happiness and hardship often coexist, and how cultural exchange can be both enriching and emotionally challenging.
